Default Kaiser Patent Plate/CDN2

I am looking for a Kaiser Patent Plate, located behind the passenger seat for my 67 M38A1CDN2. Mine looks as if it was sandblasted, and is totally unreadable except the serial number. Does anyone know where to find a replacement one, new or replica?? Also can someone post a good picture of what it looks like. If someone has an extra old used one, I will see if I can get a copy or 2 made using it.
Thanks Richard

To my knowledge nobody has reproduced this plate for either the CDN2 or CDN2 (although I do stock the dashboard plates sets for both of these vehicles since they were prone to fading away).
This plate is attached with 4 screws to the wheelwell behind the passender seat. A generic Willys plate is available from various US dealers.
One of the problems of reproducing the CDN 2 and CDN3 plate is that the originals had the serial number stamped from the rear to produce a raised number. I recall that there is also a raised lip around the outer edge.
The dilemma about using a used plate is that the serial number may already be registered to somebody else's jeep.

Where precisely behind the passenger seat is this plate supposed to be? I am unable to find even rivet holes where it would have been mounted, but there's a fair amount of filler around my toolbox so that's not necessarily surprising.

Mike, behind passenger seat rivetted on the front surface of the rear wheel well at the top, near the side panel.

Definitely don't have that one - what is its significance?

There is a good company in the UK making reproductions of anything, photoetched or cast, raised relief etc all possible.

I would have to dig up the post if anyone is interested.
