I have ajusted all the brake linkages and all seems fine but, When I press the brake pedal several times the hand brake slowly clicks on.
Any ideas which ones wrong or which to adjust? Many Thanks Barry London MKII ![]() |

Barry, better late than never 2008 question, I think the two adjustable rods from the brake pedal central pivot to the first two brake pivots are two long, book says a pry bar is needed to insert the pins to avoid this very problem.
Guess you got it sorted now, dont have the parts manual with me to clarify the part numbers for these rods. kevin. ![]()

Indeed Kevin, better late then never! In 2008 I was not a member yet so did not see this post. My Carrier has exactly the same symptom. Now I know the answer is somewhere in the book so can fix it.
