Hanno, thanks for that... it's pretty neat. I wonder, though, how they get the rights to sell work that already have acknowledged copyrights? Or Am I missing something here (my French is pretty rusty).
BTW anyone, go into their Recherche >> Mots-cles page and just type in the word 'canadien'... that'll keep you busy for a while... ![]()

Never having seen this picture before, damned if I wasn't mightily surprised to see it on page 93 of Bouchery's book, which came in the mail just today!

Hi there
I've seen a copy of the same photo. Another from the same series appears on the cover the 'The Ram Tank' (see attached: the trooper now sits in the auxilliary turret) But notice how the colour of the tank has changed from brown (SCC No.2) in one to a lightish Khaki in another. We are simply going to have to invent a time machine and send someone back to the Second World War with a FS595 chip book. Steve

This group cannot defend a copyright action. The Intellectual Property (IP) resides with the Crown as these photos were all taken by individuals then employed by the Canadian Army. These photos, most of which were passed over to the National Archives as Accession 1967-052, are all copyright free and may be freely used for any purpose including commercial. The colour images are still held by the CF Photo Unit (Combat Camera) but may be obtained at no charge and specific copyright release obtained upon request. In fact, I now se a couple of pix which may grace the covers of future "Weapons of War" booklets.

One more picture, identified by Steve Guthrie on another forum as a 3-ton CMP Derrick Truck (with a winch fitted to the body floor and used a demountable boom) and used by the RCE.
