| Philips No. 4 receiver (Aust.)

I had one of these, it had been butchered by somebody . Made by Philips here. It isn't a transmittor (sic) . I think these sets are fairly rare . http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/World-War...cAAOSwuzRXfbX0 There is a clip on grill and mounting base, similar to the 19 set arrangement. And a mobile whip antenna base that clips on the rear . I had these as well . The chassis is unusual, a single large and heavy thick die cast unit, there are pockets in the casting for various components . The set has a internal 6V ? vibrator or mains power .
