Post War Half Track Usage
A number of German wartime tank models appear to have served with other countries for a number of years after the war, probably for a variety of reasons.
Did any of the German wartime half track models do as well post war, or did the shear number of available American half tracks and spare parts do them in? Apart from the heavy armour, did the Allies bother organizing sale of surplus German vehicles, or was such equipment simply abandoned to each country it was left in to be disposed of as they saw fit? David
