| volt or amp gauge

I am restoring a f15a cab 11 and I have 3 different instrument panels. two have amp gages and one has a volt meter. The two that have ammeters can not be verified as CMP gauge clusters The one with the volt meter is definitely from a CMP. My question is , did CMP's ever use ammeters? I would like to use the correct cluster. All the wiring diagrams I have show voltmeters. Cheers,Dave |
