M38 VS M38A1 Top

Gentlemen: Picking brains here. I have a canvas top which will be going up for sale on the forum shortly. I was told ages ago, that the M38 canvas top was the same fit to the M38A1. Any comments from the audience (without getting off track). I will have photos when it does go up for sale.
