The top chop one also appears to have had the windscreen reset at 90 deg's instead of sloping forward.

Is the 6 seat utility (Aust) original or a home made civy job?

Cheers
Cliff

Default 6 seater

Hi Cliff

That's the real deal - just looks funny because of the colour and the lower profile tyres as well as the shiny paint job.

Default Keith

Maybe this an attempt at "low sillouette"?

Hi Keith, That 6 seater utility looks to me to be modified a bit. The originals didn't have glass in the rear windows, they were covered by canvas flaps. The rear bodywork appears to be coachbuilt, note the reinforcing fold running full length below the side windows. It also looks like the rear mudguards have been swapped from side to side.

Regards
Rod

PS. I'm not sure what source I got this pic from.

Default 6 Seater

Hi Rod,
I agree with your observation, I suspect this is a post war civy conversion. In the factory pic you posted what is the box infront of the left fuel tank? Could it be a POW can on it's side?
