Default South African Recce Car Mk VII (Marmon-Herrington)

Who knows more about the prototype Marmon-Herrington Mk VII as shown on the link below?
When was it made? On what specifications?

I dont know the answer to this but the body shape resembles a Humber "Ironside" as shown in this thread. Maybe it was a copy?

i would NOT want to be rideing in that, looks too much like a 222 or 251!!!

Yeah, it sure comes close to the Humberette or Ironsides but not all the bevels on the hull match.
And I suppose the Humber Super Snipe chassis would be smaller than the Ford truck chassis used on the SA car...?
