Default Guy Portee

This picture from this site shows a Guy FBAX Portee. My question is what weapon would it carry? Anyone have any better pictures in use etc?

Two vehicles were used in trials in 1928/29 along with two 4 wheeled versions and 2 Thornycroft XB's. The trial was conducted by 54 Bty, 10 Fld Bde equipped with 18 pdr field guns and Cletrac tractors.

The Thornycroft could carry the gun, tractor and gun crew while the 4 and 6 wheeled Guy's carried the gun on one vehicle and the Cletrac and crew on the second vehicle.

In 1930 the Mechanical Warfare Board reported that the Thornycroft was most suitable as only one vehicle was needed per sub section. The trials continued through 1930/31 but the portee idea became redundant after 1930 when reliable low pressure cross country tyres became available.

54 Bty handed all the vehicles back to Ordnance in March 1932 and they were replaced with the Light Dragon MkII.
