Keith managed to drop in whilst up this way to have a ride in the carrier and to take some footage. On the way out to the paddock Keefy learnt to hang on as the brakes grabbed on one of my left hand turns, as they do, Keefy and camera nearly landed on my side what a sight that would have been. After having fun outthe paddock we headed back and it was Keefy's turn to drive , he managed successfully to get back to the house without running over any livestock, he even managed top gear. Keefy had a grin on his face that only a man can have. After such excitment keefy was fed some scones and then had to head back to Melbourne.

After successfully completing the basic LP2A driving course at the Yass training camp, driver Webb displays the pearly whites indicating the achievement of top gear driving in a Carrier.
Ahhh the wind in the hair, the roar of the fan, the sound of the tracks, the terrified BAAAAAAAHHHH!!! of the Yass sheep... It doesn't get much better than this! (Thanks, Max).

Hi Mike
I've posted a couple of sites on the Restoration Forum that I use when I don't have an original colour on a restoration vehicle. I've tried their "light stone" and until I come up with a better one I'll live with that. Some people think its too light but I've nothing else to compare with at this time. Bob |

I had a sneak preview of the vidio footage shot by keith & I am possitive he has edited the part where you are chassing down a couple of sheep along the fence line. I could see one run across in front of the carrier & the camera jumped a little but their was no sound. Very suspect I think, but so great footage all the same. Euan. |

When are you calling in to get your L Plates for the carrier? Max I believe you about the sheep as being an eye witness at times I can verify that these things happen and it's not always accidental as he will tell you. We will also keep keefy away from the jumping Blitz as it looks a little dangerous. Kathy |

...makes a great dry lubricant and rust preventative for the tracks!! I've seen farm trucks that have spent a long and weary life carting wool bales. The trucks were way past serviceable, but mysteriously, suffered little from rust and water run off them like a duck's back. So, for a long healthy life for your carrier, go get them sheep
