Default New Carrier

Just purchased another carrier. Needs a total restoration, but will make a nice project. Some nice original parts, and un-cut armor, with serial numbers... a huge bonus! Some photos from today, will be picking it up tomorrow.

The capitalist in me says "Good on ya!!" but the socialist in me says "Nobody should have TWO carriers until everyone has ONE!!"

I have no doubt that it has found a good home,

Ha Ha,

I don't consider this as owning "two" carriers, but, I hope to be able to refer to them as the "twins" one day.

Of course, one will always have a complex as the other will be lucky enough to sport the Stacy towing attachment.

Hey, how come there is no snow in the photos? Did you guys only have that for the few days I was there?

It looks like your CT number is shy one digit.

Nice looking carrier Brad. You are truly a bloodhound when it comes to this stuff.

Default New Carrier

Glad to see this hurtin' unit going to a good home.
I'm sure that you'll give me an oppritunity to get my hands dirty with this one.
I'm looking forward to one day seeing a unique set of North Novie twins!
I'll drop in, in a couple of hours after work.

Cheers

Had the chance late this afternoon to go and get the carrier, went fairly straight forward.

This carrier has been sitting for at least 1 1/2 years, with spark and fuel it started right up. Kind of amazing actually and a testiment to the engine in the little beast.

I will say that because it sat for so long, the tracks were sunk into the ground, and frozen solid, took a little bit to get her un-stuck but with the help of the little Farmall Cub, she broke free.

Rob,

Your correct on the snow and the CT number.

CT 113631
03 - 1943
Serial #14539
Hull # 13514

Does any one know what the mark stands for after the hull #? Almost looks like a C/|\ ???

Hopefully I can track down the history of this one...
