Default Blitz found....

Hey I found this blitz the other day. It's in really bad condition, but any idea on model? I think it is a Ford but I don't know much about them.

I was told it was an RAAF blitz. It has balloon tyres and was used on Fraser Island for many years (hence the condition!)

Not ex RAAF but ex artillery as I think it is the remains of a #9 Gun Tractor. Don't tell Keefy as he will want it for sure

Default Wow, in before Keith!

Arron,
Remains of FGT #8, (Ford gun tractor #8) the flat roof indicates its #8 not #9. Interesting find, does it have any data plate to be found?

No data plates to be found, but I only looked near the dash. This blitz is at Rainbow Beach QLD. I didn't talk to the owner but I'm sure you won't have to pay much for it.

Default Dash

Hi Robert - dash no problems. I've had worse sent to me. The speedometer would probably be recoverable and it still has the needle albeit exposed.

Hi Daniel

This one was originally a GS dropside tray with winch according to the WO82 plate.
