Doug,

Congrats and welcome to the wonderful world of CMPs!

You could start downloading a manual at http://www.canadianregister.co.uk/ and start reading until a paper copy comes up for sale or trade.

Ebay my friend, ebay. Just be patient.
There is a 1942 Chev manual on Oz ebay at the moment but it's $100 Aus. A bit dear I reckon.

Well,
I have picked up a 1942 CMP maintenance manual for my Chev. It is coming out of England. I picked it up for the equivalent to $32.00 Can. It is a start! Thanks all.
Now to find some square 2 gal. gas cans. Any idea`s where I could find any?
Thanks,
Doug

Doug,

Those damn cans seem to get more dear by the month - often going for $100 ( US$!!). Keep an eye out to find them - poke around eBay, as they are still around.

It sounds like you need a truck cover too - I replied to your PM. Still no firm price, but the first off looks really good. I have a CMPer who paid for the next one already - he liked that much.

Got any truck pix for us?

Stewart
