A mate recovered this carrier the other day. Not sure of it's hull number yet, but I have asked him for it.
A lot of armour is missing, but mechanically it's good apart from brakes that are stuck on! ![]() Getting there ![]() no, you have enough toys of your own Greg! ![]() almost there ![]() Tony's M37 providing the motive power to get the carrier onto the trailer (which has actually beenbuilt to transport a Gama Goat)

Hi all - I really get excited when another Carrier comes to light. It doesn't matter what condition it is in, it's out in the open.

It is exciting to see them come to light, a pity it isn't as complete as the one that Justin found!

Isn't that the remains of another Strickland carrier? In any case, the front roadwheels should have that sitting level... from the angle I can't tell whether the springs are stuck in full compression or whether thew crosstube is out of line but it bears looking into.
BTW, there are some great pics here and elsewhere of a restored Strickland for comparison... ![]()

because the brakes are stuck on, and the winch has pulled its nose down.
It has rounded suspension forks because its English(or Canadian)rather than an Aussie LP2 or 2a, and it also looks like it has a straight 6 in it (dont start that again!)

G'day All. An english carrier eh, I thought that it didn't look quite right in the photo.
Geoff WB, Geoff the owner has been on the trail of this carrier for about a year, and knew about it before the corowa just gone where he got verry excited while looking at the restored strickland there, however it does not to be an official strickland conversion, just a home made job. So, how did an english carrier come to be in australia? did we buy some?

Interesting about the suspension arms, see these English ones below, with a TL part number and marked "Not for Tanks": |
