Formation, tac and unit signs

Hello,

I am down to the nitty-gritty....I am looking for the dimensions for the Unit and Formation signs. Anyone got the sizes on the tip of their fingers?

I am going with First Div and an Arty unit in memory of my wife's uncle who was a D Day Dodger and finished up in Germany.

After a lengthy search I have found the sizes for the Formation sign 6 1/2 in high and 9 inch wide.

Unit signs 9 1/2 wide and 8 1/2 high with 5 in numbers

Now all I have to find is the marking for the 17th field bty of the 3rd field rgt.

Mike, the 17 Fd Bty never served with the 3rd Fd Regt, are you perhaps looking for the 77th Fd Bty?
