Default Ford Scripts

Hi all - finally got around to replicating the Ford Script that is fitted to the Cab12 & some Cab13 instrument housings. Made out of plastic to keep the cost down and without the retaining pins as you would need to dissemble the instrument panel to fit the clips. Just glue them on and only the purist could tell them apart. Cast off an original that an old army mate of mine nicked from a Blitz during WW2. $AUD17.50 with free postage in Oz & $AUD5 postage for rest of world. In either case, any number. Also listed on Epay but for $AUD20, so you lot get a discount of $AUD2.50 as I don't have to pay merchant fees here. PM me if interested.

Default No Sales

Hi all - given the total lack of response to these scripts, I must assume that every Ford Blitz owner has one of these on their instrument panel. After several enquires about their availability and that "someone" should make some, it makes me wonder why I bothered to replicate these other than needing some for my own panel restorations.

Bob:
Where did these scripts go on the instrument panel? Today when I was beginning to mine back together I noticed some rivet holes where nothing had been before I disassembled the panel. They were near the top of the panel.

Regards,
Jim

On a cab 12 they go under the instrument cluster. Early cab 13s had them above the cluster. Later ones appear to have dispensed with them.

Bob,
I assume you'll have these with you at Corowa?
If so set aside 2 for me, if not drop us a PM.
Thanks old fella!

Default Ford Script Locations

Hi Jim - if you have a couple of small holes in the positions of the attached images, that is where the script goes.

Default Ford Script

Bob
Just saw your posting.
I need one! I bought a "new" one from Macs Auto but it was quite a bit too big. Tried to send you a PM but no go. Send me an e-mail for my mailing address.

Sorry David,

I altered your posting to prevent spammers picking up your e-mail adress from this forum.

In your original posting click the word e-mail and your e-mail address will be copied to Bob´s e-mail application.
