Default Cab 13 rain gutter

A while ago I visited a friend who was working on a C15A Cab 13. This picture shows the correct profile of the rain gutter, often missing or badly replaced on Cab 13s.

HTH,
Hanno

Good question; I presume so.

Do you have reasons to presume it is not?

As far as I am aware John, it's there to help seal the top edge of the half doors canvas to the lower side of the rain gutter, when the half doors are fitted

Keith

Hanno there were some differences in rain gutters , some are made like the one in your picture (do i recognise it) , some have the angle (rain gutter) shorter , and is the channel for the side pannels spotweled behind it , so both pieces are spotwelded to the roof channel rather then on each other , and mostly the Ford roofs have the channel with the inside corner rounder than the outside corner were the side window pannel rest against.
hope you understand it , otherwise I have to make some pictures .

Hanno,

Thanks for posting the picture; I was just looking into those last week. Were all cab13's fitted with rain gutters? The reason I ask is because it's hard to see in some period pictures.

Alex
