Default Well done

Hello Brenton. A good buy that one...

I used to own 169-129 Armaggeddon, which had originally been commanded by my mate (then Captain) Len Koles at 1st Armd Regt.

Matt M now owns and displays it with a new engine etc.

Len and I both served in 1/15th RNSWLR (not at the same time) and are both involved with the Lancer Museum at Parramatta.

Cheers

Phill

Default Stuck up forum owners

Ah yes, and yet another forum on our hobby that you are unable to view unless you become a member.

Is this some sort of underhanded method of drumming up new members? I recently had to join HMVF to see some photos of a 25 pounder of a member of this forum whom had posted them there then left a little teaser here.

BOCF made us join to see the images that they have. Now yet again.....join this new forum to see the pictures.

Have you all noticed that this is not the case with MLU? everyone is able to view everything as a guest. Whilst I will admit I was (like Tony Smith) happier when the images were a part of the thread rather than a thumbnail, I fully understand why Geoff has gone that way. BUT EVERYONE CAN STILL SEE THE IMAGES.

If you want to be a member of MLU, and wish to post about your latest event, purchase or other, please do us a courtesy and post the images to this forum. It can be done by inserting the URL of the picture from your alternative forum without directly adding the picture here if you so wish. But please stop trying to phish for new members from our forum.

If we are not welcome to see your pictures here on MLU, then please go elsewhere.

Their is nothing wrong with MLU just im a fan of MVCA due to its Australian Local focus for us collectors in Australia.
MLU is a good reference & forum for Commonwealth vehicles. im not trying to to get people to join just mentioning that their is a new forum up for Australian collectors. it just a inconvenience to post pics on every forum all the time that's why i haven't done it yet.

heres a few pics of the new toy to keep you happy Pedr

some people are holding on to tight its just a public forum if you have a problem send me a private message don't make it public and turn it into a debate. .
