Default Ford flathead bellhousing oil tapping points

Hi, Can anyone tell me the standard correct thread size for the two oil tapping points on the bellhousing of a 24 stud Canadian carrier engine and would it be the same for a later 8BA engine?.

The thread on both engines is 1/4" NPT, but the 8BA has an 80 pound sender and will not work correctly with a 50 pound gauge that is most commonly fitted to CMPs and Carriers. Both the sender and gauge need to be 50+50 or 80+80. It is marked on the sender.
