Default carrier number 3359

,
Just picked up some more carrier spare parts, and in this collection is the largest rear bin, and this has the number 3359 in large numbers, I have had many of these in past years but most had just 2 numbers on the large bin and 2 on the next largest bin, the reason for this post is to see if any of our boys have this carrier recorded? I think that I do know the fate of this one but its worth checking, seems a shame to paint over the numbers.
Regards Ron

Default 3359

No info other than an adjacent number, 3357 which exists and is a Ford built example.

Default Carrier #3359

Hi Ron - according to my data #3359 is a Metgas Carrier under contract number MOV.1229. #3357 is also a Metgas and not a Ford as Keefy suggests. Hull numbers under this contract were #3250 to #3869 inclusive. I don't have a year of manufacture.

Default Carrier 3359,

Hello Bob,
Good to hear from you and thanks for the information,I posted it on a long shot that this carrier still exsisted, but knowing where I got these parts and many others over the years I think that it would be long gone now,
Thanks again for your help, Regards Ron

Default Metgas

That info came from the original database I based mine on - thanks for the correction, Bob!
