Default m211/m207 markings on hood ?

i was wondering if anyone could tell what the yellow marking on the hood can tell us,it apears to be on the original paint with a red mark over it then the final layer of three color camo over every thing,
i hope to pull this truck home tomorow , have to cut off the trees and load up the original box , maybe i should pull the drive shafts for the 10 mile run.

does 25000 miles seem like an average run for these trucks?
later Anthony.

Thumbs down

It might be a bridge classification sign, but they are usually on the front bumper and depending on the use of the truck and who it belonged to might be a clue to what the sign means. Normally the only thing on the hood was the unit sign and the Cdn flag.
You appear to have a very nice truck, be careful when pulling it not to damage the bumper as they are very hard to find. I recently sold my last M135 and it is being used as a daily driver in a large yard, are you going to keep it as a M211 or are you going to go with the M135 version(6 wheel). You have a nice restoration project. By the way don't worry about the mileage, a lot of times when the spedometer broke they just replaced it and did not record the previous mileage, but the mileage would appear to be in the average ballpark, I've had of these and the highest milage I hade was about 37,000 miles.
