Default Alvis Prototype?

Been reading Bill Munro's "Alvis Saracen Family", he mentions that in 1960 Alvis were designing a one ton all wheel drive Army truck to be fitted with the Ferguson centre differential. As Alvis have designed some of THE most interesting Military vehicles I am keen to know more about this (assumed) dead end. I am sure I have seen a picture with a prototype in the background, but can't seem to find it now.
Any details to apease my curiosity would be greatly appreciated.
Rich.

Found the photo I had seen, finally, but it was a 1939 Alvis Hefty Gun Tractor (Plain and boxy with a ford V8). So it would appear there are no pictures at all of the One Ton all wheel drive prototype available to the MLU Fraternity.
Bugger!
Rich.
