Anthony;

The 'HB' decal is a Royal Canadian Artillery Tactical Sign. The red over blue background identifies the vehicle as belonging to an RCA unit’s Regimental Headquarters. The ‘HB’ portion of the decal is a ‘Tactical Sign Designator’, which would indicate what or who within the RHQ organization operated/used the vehicle. Unfortunately, I do not know whom the ‘HB’ designator identifies, I believe that this is a post Second World War marking.

The yellow circle was normally the background for the bridge classification sign, but why it would be on the door, I have no clue.

Cheers
