Guys just been into my service book looking for the correct model Holley carb used on carriers, unfortunately on the canadian books I have they only list the Zenith carb (FUC-03) and (UC -F1)
anyone any idea's ? Cheers Richie PS on the carb i have i cant find the serial numbers, and i am unsure if it is the correct one anyway. the inlet on the unit is the arrow type fitment for the carb.

Your carrier shouldn't have a Holley. Put a Stromberg on it (Not a pommie one)

I dont know Rich, but I do know there is a difference in where the float chamber vents. it should be at the rear, because the fan presurises the chamber, with the front vented carbs. there is a website that explains the differences between the the Ford/ Stromberg/ others/ years/ etc etc etc.
Your not building a race engine here so it wont make any difference if you use a 94 or 97, but it should perform better than with the original carb, (I was told this by an old guy who used carriers in farming, post war)which had a governor integral to it (good or bad?) Im not sure if the old guy was talking about the British Solex, or the Canadian Zenith.

Richard
Have a look at the virtual catalogue of Mac Auto in Niagara New York USA.... they have illustrated listings of the various carbs available for different years and engine size..... it may be helpful. Bob C.
