Default Mk2 carrier has re appeared in UK

remember we had that thread a few weeks back regarding the pair of carriers for sale in Kent..

Kerry has put the Mk2 back on again £7500 gbp needs a new set of armour however pics show it has some of the right bits.. i am not affiliated with this dealer but thought i would post the link up none the less interesting note was it appears to have been fitted with a canvas at some stage (or so i would believe) as it has the points on the top of the armour towards the rear.

It appears that the crew area has been extended to cover the rear deck?

If this is half the pair from the other day, which were at 30k the pair either the seller has dropped the asking price a lot or the MK1 sold for quite a bit more than the MK2 !!

Does a MK1 really command that much more than a MK2?

Default mk2 carrier,

I have just seen that carrier in the flesh today, I have just bought and collected the other one. The Mk2 there needs alot of work and would be no quick fix, all the top half of it needs chucking in the scrap bin, also the track needs a complete repin. That a aside I am sure if you offered him 6k for it in a couple of weeks he would take it.

Considering you could find something similar in Canada for 3K then add on the import costs it would soon be 6K. I guess leave it for a few weeks and make him an offer.

Kevin.
