Hi all

I just turned on the TV and saw the news of the death of Bin Ladin, best news I have heard since the Berlin Wall came down, however even though the snakes head has been cut off there will be others who will no doubt take up the fight. We rejoice in the news but the war goes on and we must stay vigilant.

Praise to the US and Pakistan troops who took the fight into the snakes hole.

Cheers

Tony

Default "Mission accomplished"

Those Seal guys are welcomed at my place any time!

They will never have to buy a beer for the rest of their lives. Well deserved too. Meet me in Hawaii next December and i'll shout enough rounds of drinks to bring on liver trouble.

I've heard that it was a Navy SEALS chopper insertion team that did the deed.

I'm wondering what the Pak's reaction to a foreign military team taking someone out on Pak soil?

I'm also wondering what the Saudi reaction will be to the US , they having killed a Saudi national.

So, now what about the ultimate cost of gasoline at my local pumps?

Pondering...

Respectfully Jon, who cares who did what and who's going to make trouble over it. I think the Yanks and the rest of the world can care less now that this individual is gone from our world.
The Paks need retaliation as well, afterall, they are, were and still have been aiding terrorists of all factions during the last 10 years since 911. They can't say nothing to the world...
It is curious though, wondering where this will put the rest of them. I think the fence sitters might hang up their guns finally once and for all, seeing that the US will get you, just a matter of time. Of course the hardcore extremist wack jobs will try to step up but their number will come too. Any self respecting terrorist with half a brain has been carefully watching events unfold during the past few years. Haven't seen the IRA causing trouble lately have we???

People, please mind your words. It is perfectly o.k. to discuss the world's news, but please refrain from abusive language and political standpoints.

Thank you for your understanding.

Default He won't be missed...

...at least, not by me. It took a long time to get him, but I'm grateful that it happened before the 10th anniversary of his biggest atrocity.

Let him try to gloat from beyond the grave.
