Default Carrier Vol 3 praise

Although I realise it's old news by now for most but I have just received Universal Carriers Vol 3 and can only describe Nigel's work as stunning !

I learned a few more things already and feel like I know a few of you carrier owners a little more as well.

That's my Christmas done...

Cheers

Phill

Default Full agreement on this

I got mine a while back, stunning is inadequate.

The box file of drawings were amazing, I only wish I had them prior to doing my research from the modelling point of view.

Phil, how's it going with your project ???

George.

Default Carrier Vol 3 praise

I broke down and nervously purchased the entire set based only on what the front covers looked like and word of mouth endorsements from this site. I had in the back of my brain that they would be some kind of expanded Osprey style books.

Boy was I wrong! Hard covers, professionally produced, (Real Books) amazing detail. The photos and scale diagrams are fantastic. Nigel is obviously OCD and we benefit greatly as a result!!!

If you make the committment to purchase them long distance I don't think you will be disappointed in any way.

I couldn't agree more. Just have to get Vol 2 early next year to complete the set.

Once I'ved read and re-read vol 3 cover to cover a few times it's out to the workshop to put that enthusiasm to good use.

Cheers

Phill

I have yet to get Vol.3 I clapped eyes on it at Shauns and was touched to see my grandad within the covers of the book, along with a little bit about my carrier. it was a very very quick flick through as we were busy, but the book is a testament to Nigel.
