Rolf, I have some in the wartime retrospective...if you can handle the theoretical copyright issue though I hardly think that is a problem in a Norwegian magazine!

Hi Rolf,

I have a Bedford QL which was handed over to the Danish army after the war and served with them until 1987 when it was auctioned off. We bought it a week later, I have some photos of it when bought and how it was after it was restored back to British Army finish.

Am having computor problems at present, so may be slow to answer you.

regards,
Richard

Default David, Vic and Richard

Well...
First, I have been the editor before, so I konw what is comming.. a lot of work to please a bunch of mechanics that knows all, but don't wanna write a line....
But hopefully I can tease them enough to get them write some thing.

David, one of the reasons I love factory pictures is that the copyright is easier to handle, most of the companies are long gone.. and will be greatefull of any contribution I know you can give.

Vic, I'll PM you my snail adress for the switch. Looking forward to see it. On using the petrol driven heaters for the CMP's, well I think I would rather freeze a bit before fiering up the heater on my wireless. Think you are a brave man to do so, even if your heater is "new" (and uses gas)... But then again, when age is closing in on one, we tend to like it more comfortable when going on a MV-meeting.

Richard, Your QL would be very interesting to present in our magazine, and don't worry, have time until January before deadline is closing in... All credits will be given, and of course a magazine where your QL is presented.

PM me your private mail adresses and I will give you a small teaser of what the magazine will look like

Rolf

Rolf,

Sorry, but I can't help pictures of the Bedford QL. Let us know about the next vehicle you're going to write about and I'll try to help you.

I suppose the magazine is written in Norwegian? Hmm, that's a bit difficult - I sure would like to read more about this carrier!

Hello Rolf, Here is a pic of the remains of a Bedford QLB on a farm near my home in Kulin, Western Australia. You are welcome to use it if it is suitable. If I wasn't so interested in CMPs I would go and recover it myself.

Default Well

thank you Rod and Hanno
Have saved the picture Rod, but if used for print, I will need a higher resolution.
The carriere Hanno, is owned by a friend, he is writing an article on the german Stöewer at the time, but the carrier will be, together with others, presented at a later time.
And the norwegian language is not difficult. Even one Year old children speaks it here......

Hopefully the magazine will have articles on commonwealth and german as well as US vehicles in each issue.
So I am for sure going to ask again for pictures....

Rolf

Default stoewer

well not exactly a MLU topic, but guess the canadian chaps once in a while used german vehicles and also a Stoewer.
Can't promise when the article is in the magazine, but will give you a note.

BTW Any having pictures of german vehicles in commonwhealt use? Seems as most pictures are the other way round her Strange since we are int CMP's.....

Rolf
