awesome... the Aussie carriers always sound more throaty than the can/brit variants, are the exhausts shorter or something ?

Darren, that looks just fantastic!
![]() Its presents simply immaculate, and obviously has been a very thorough restoration. The youtube video shows it off well. Bet it's fun to drive. I'm sure that wasn't the first tree to be mowed down by a BREN carrier (or BREN Gun for that matter). ![]() Must look for one for restoration, once I finish the CMP. Assuming they can still be found in the year 2055! Best if I start prepairing my wife for the idea now, that way it won't come as a shock later ![]() Fear I might get sea-sick in one though.

Carriers built here in NZ only got exhausts very near the end of the production run. From memory, only the last 200 carriers were fitted with mufflers.

Hi Darren
Great video, enjoyed the higher resolution so can put it up full screen. The sound of the Ford Flathead is great. Cheers Phil
