Default Ford CMP

Hi Gordy

I'm sure there will be many people in Canada to help you here. Can you post some pictures of your CMP? There's a big difference between a 1941 and 42 model, not in the brakes but in 1942 the cab underwent a complete redesign.

Default Welcome to the crazy world of CMP.....

Hi Gord

You found the best place for information.

BC has its own collection of asylum resident who can share loacl suppliers with you.

Remember that most of us are illeterate and pictures will gain you a lot of favors..... so get a camera and start snapping and posting.....

Brake shoes.... basically you take your old shoes to a professional truck brake shop and they will reline the for you..... you might want to inquire about having your brake drums turned.... just enough to give you a clean surface.....

Good luck in your quest..... don't be afraid to ask questions that's what the forum is all about...

Asylum...asylum....really Bob, you're making us look bad! Will check in next week as to these parts. Might have a line on some, but won't know till this weekend. Your alternative is to be respected though.....even though you're from Ontario! Kindly as always: Robert (Vancouver) Centre of the Universe.....followed way behind by Ontario!!

Thanks for posting the pics - it's a 42 or later cab 13 version. Are you looking for some paint as well?

Default Salesman Bob

A good instrument panel would not go amiss either. I know someone who does them
