I just found a very nice office body and am contemplating dropping it on my short 134" w.b. F-60S. As this is an early body, and I see a picture of one in Gregg's "Profiles", can I assume this is a good match? I think the majority of these were 158" lorries. Since the 7J2 LAAT box is just not showing up in my searches, its off with the derrick box, and onto the office for my next restoration project. Any thoughts on what kind of equipment was issued in the office?

My personal choice would be a small desk with a laptop and cellular access to the internet, plus a pull-out couch, a propane beer fridge and a cooker of somesort... but I'll just table that suggestion for now...

With a laptop and propane fridge one would have to consider air conditioning unit, these things don't like to much heat!
Reminds me of the time I lived in the mountains and it was only a couple of degrees C below freezing and my aussie Kerosine heater refused to work until I wrapped it in a reflective blanket!!! Anton |
