Has anyone made reproductions of the rear tac sign holders on International Mk3/Mk4 & F1 cargo bodied trucks?
I believe they are the same on the CMP? The type that slides in from the side and has 3 recessed holes arranged in an inverted triangle. |

Like these?
I had these made locally. The measurements were provided from the relevent Australian WWII Military beurocracy. They don't insert from the side, but top. Make sure you do your recesses REAL deep, so you don't foul the sliding of the plate. You probably already know that. The smaller plate you see in first photo is a more modern Australian one from a Land Rover, that I sent to the steel shop, so they knew how what I was wanting.

Very true! I hadn't given that scenario much thought. Mine will be going in a fixed position. One of the more learned MLU members will surely enlighten soon. Mine could be one variation, I guess. Maybe there is some method of locking them in place, in such a fitment??
