This year I am going to Oberon. I have wanted to go for a few years so I will take a few photos and add them to this thread. In the past I don't think the weather has been great. I am going via the Wineries at Mudgee. I haven't been there for a little while and I will go to my favourite wineries.

Fair
The Oberon fair is over for another year, BUT with 2 yes TWO Matilda,s and escort Brens Matt put on a great display. The grounds this were packed with all sorts of gear , even saw a anfib getting about [ thanks Manfred ] good lineup of X mil gear , cars, trucks, tractors, traction engines and lots of stationary equipment. big street parade on Sat morning. very warm for this time of year, 32.9 at 3pm.

It was a great weekend and I have just arrived home and have a few KVE things to action then I will download my photos and post some. There were people from far and wide and I know they will be back next year. Thanks to Matt for helping promote this event throughout the military vehicle fraternity. Put the date on your calendar and attend in February 2015 so you can see and experience this event. From what I heard it has only been held for 4 years. Maybe Matt can confirm this?

Very hot conditions, we had our Nixion's modified Matilda in town and it raised a few eyebrows in the main parade. No mechanical issues this year but did have some misadventure with hot roads..

A small selection of the hundreds of vehicles present. Rally has been run on this site for a number of years. prior to that a small group of locals with me at the helm organised it for 3 years until the current organisation seen the potential and took over from us....and the rest is history.
