I picked these up this week from a 90+ year old gentleman who told me he received these badges from his uncle. He wasn't particularly fond of the uncle and that's why he gave me the badges when he learned of my interest in all things military. Generally I'm trying to find out what they are "era" etc. I do plan on parting with them to further my Jeep fund if it is worth my time.
I appreciate any help those in the know can offer. Thanks Sean I "Googled" the Lake Superior Regiment cap badge and came up with a couple similar but the beaver is facing the right in the search photos whereas these badges I have are facing left. There is also a "spelling" issue. if you look at the end of the latin motto you will see the "A" is also "E" ![]() ![]() There is also a pair of collar dogs both with the beaver facing left. They have Hicks & Sons London on the back. ![]() ![]() I also received 2 X 70 Collar dogs made by P.W. Ellis & Co 1915 & 1 X INF collar dog made by BIRKS 1915 ![]() 1 X Canada Militia Button (Large) ![]() ![]() 1 X GS Canada Cap Badge ![]() A small Red Cross 1918 button/pin ![]() ![]() |
