Folks, I am testing the waters before making more Dingo canvas tops.
I have a ragged out one I have picked the stitches out to make a pattern, and a second one in really good condition to verify my measurements. The fabric is the same chocolate brown that was used on the bivi tents and currently for sale in Canada as new tarpaulins. I can probably get new metal strips made, and use new lift the dot studs. First off, is anyone already making replicas of the tops? If so, who? If you had yours made as a one-off by a auto upholsterer, what did they charge? While I would like to make this worth my time, I am sure I will charge fairly! |

When I bought my Dingo it came with a new canvas top. I don't know who made it but I'm pretty sure Jim Clark from allied canvas would do a very good job.
