The time has come for me to sell my fully restored F8. I've had a lot of fun with it and it's time to have someone else enjoy it. Those of you who have been members of this site may have followed my progress in the restoration several years back. My questions are these: How much should I expect to sell it for? What venue should I use to sell it?

Mike,
You are correct! Purchased 5 of the MRF's from a dealer in Moree, NSW and shared a container full of milveh parts being shipped to a restorer right here in my city! Talk about lucky! Best regards. Jim |

Sad to hear you have to let it go. What venue to use? Well, MLU of course! ;-) Milweb works well too. As for price, ask James Gosling what he paid for his F8 he recently bought in Holland. Hope this helps, Hanno PS: if anyone would like to read more about Jim's truck, go HERE

I bought one fully road ready 2 years ago in Ontario. It was missing some of the finishing touches but was still a very nice looking truck. The truck has a back tarp as well but here is a pic to compare.
The price was much less than the 19k asked for on the above craigslist add. I won't say how much on here. The truck is small and easy to move which makes it more desirable, for this reason it might command a better price than bigger trucks. My two cents. Last edited by Jon Bradshaw; 12-02-17 at 21:00. |
