Default BCOF Jeep

Ian Fawbert found this interesting pic of a BCOF Jeep . Looking at the side curtains begs the question, Are these the GM-H made curtains/doors that were made by GM-H to a 1944 Aust. Govt. contract ? Or maybe the curtains were a one off job done in Japan ?

Electric windscreen wipers ? and a webbing strap for the passenger to grab onto as the Jeep careers around corners

Mike,
These would be the side curtains and doors made under contract by the Humber car company during WW2. I have fitted a genuine new set to a customers jeep in the past.

Thanks Richard,
I found a newspaper article where the Humber/Rootes 'jeep' curtains are mentioned.

The windscreen wipers fitted to that BCOF jeep are actually Trico vacuum wipers , the vacuum hose is visible .
