Heads Up: CMPs for sale in Sweden

I don't see CMPs coming up for sale often (or rather: never) in Sweden. And for that reason I am listing it here - although this auction has ended: https://bilwebauctions.se/en/bilweb-...uck-6-cyl-2221. The estimated value was 20 - 25,000 SEK, the "current bid" stood at a mere 5,000 SEK which reached the reserve.

Despite being advertised as C30's both are C60S's, one a 1942 and the other a 1943 model. One has a Derrick body and the other is a chassis/cab. Who knows, maybe we will see them on here some other time?

Hello Darek,

I now see that the "15-cwt" is in fact a CGT Field artillery tractor. The rear body has been removed and a temporary 15-cwt GS cargo body fitted.

The other two are C60S with Winch & Derrick body - see http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1371

It so happened that this Ford also landed at my place
I need help identifying the number I discovered under layers of old paint. It is the number 57 painted in white paint on a purple background. The number is above the front right headlight. I'm interested in what Allied unit this vehicle served in

"57" on a red background could indicate the Junior Infantry Battalion of the Senior Infantry Brigade. I cannot find a 57 on a purple background but I may have overlooked it?
