As of November 10th, nominations are open for 2 of the 5 elected positions on the Executive - Vice President and Treasurer for the 2024-2025 term. Emails have been sent to all current OMVA members explaining the nomination and election process. Similar information may be found on the OMVA website omva.ca under "Home - News".

Greetings to all OMVA Members

Nominations for the positions of Vice President and Treasurer have now closed.

As only one nomination was received for each position, Barry Churcher for Vice President, and Brian Olivieri for Treasurer, an election is not necessary and they are acclaimed in their positions, with their 2 year terms to expire at the end of 2025. Both Barry and Brian are returning to the positions they have held and we thank them for their willingness to serve again.

The full OMVA Executive for 2024 is:

Vice President, Barry Churcher, term expires end of 2025
Secretary, Duncan Curd, term expires end of 2024
Membership Coordinator, Mel Gabel, term expires end of 2024
Treasurer, Brian Olivieri, term expires end of 2025
CMP Magazine Editor, Terry Witiuk, non-elected, no expiry
Webmaster, Jennifer Morgan, non-elected, no expiry
