Insoired by Phil's wonderful web site and all the pictures of gadgets and thingamagigs that he has invented I built a support for the transfer case which tend to be a bit heavy to manouevre on a work bench.
I use an old spare engine stand ( never have enough of them) and used the swivel head from another discarded engine stand and built a device that allows me to rotate the sucker on two seperate 360 plane....... Used it first time today...... darn I should have taken a picture of Rob scrapping the dried up grease/oil/sand crud from the case. The t-case has had two heavy soaking with engine degreaser and will now be submitted to a pressure washer.... actually the original OD paint is now visible. I left the original bracket so I can orient the case the same as in the frame for checking fluids. Had a wonderful day sandblasting..... now have sand in everything including my undies.... wonder if I could have pearls if I left the sand where the sun don't shine..????? Bob C

That is a honey of a stand...Why I'll bet with a set of duals and a four barrel that thing should get another 50 miles an hour out of it...It looks like it's going a 100 MPH in the piccture... Neat-OOOOO!!!!
