All,

I think this may be getting a bit big for carriers but!!

When I was doing some research into my Alligator. I came accross some photos in the Imperial War museum archives.

They show a LVT4A (alligator) in test in UK.

I have posted a few but took copies of all the ones they had.

Methinks that's an LVT1; the LVT4 had the engine behind the drivers and a rear loading ramp. This example had the cab mounted far forward unlike later models. Neat pics, though!
