Did I miss it along the way or has this source of information not been mentioned?
1 Report No. 141 REPORT NO. 141 HISTORICAL SECTION CANADIAN MILITARY HEADQUARTERS 18 Jul 45 SITUATION OF THE CANADIAN MILITARY FORCES OVERSEAS. Progress in Equipment (January - December 1944) Full reprint of report at http://www.forces.gc.ca/dhh/downloads/cmhq/cmhq141.pdf I have not finished back tracking to see why it was posted but it sure supplies some interesting reading. Ok after further reading I found the list of documents available online http://www.forces.gc.ca/hr/dhh/histo...hq_e.asp?cat=1 I've just been browsing and I keep finding very interesting bits that I have not seen before. Like the information about Canadian Forces in North Africa/Tunisian

Yes, Phil...Report Number 141 has been "around" for some time now.
Perhaps the link originated from an MLU member many years ago? Extremely interesting reading.

I published "Tools of the Trade" which is a highly illustrated compilation of the four war-time reports on the problems or equippping the Canadian Army.
