This link will take you to a few quick pictures of my major conversion of an Italeri 15cwt Chevy CMP into a Ford CMP with Bofors. The model is actually weathered with MIG Pigments but they don't show up well in the photos. In one front end view of the model the wheels look crooked but they are not. It's a trick of the camera. look forward to any good/bad comments. Thanks Sean |

hrm!
i'm not an expert in either CMP-stuff or 1/35 modeling (although i play one on tv...i mean...i am quite interested in them), but this looks fantastic! your modeling skills and creativity have come together in a great model. would love to see any in progress pictures (or...'restoration progress' hehe). i'm partially into 1/35 modeling, but only for my 1/6 hobby, in which i am currently working on scratchbuilding CMPs, and a bofors carrier is one of those i'd like to try. this is a great influence, thanks. |

Sean,
Your model looks great! A fellow modeler of our Dutch military modeling club, scratchbuilt the Morris Commercial Bofors some years ago. Somehow the Morris as well as the CMP attract my attention. I might do one of them in the future, but first I have to finish my CMP Ford F60H. Are you going to add more markings/registration numbers? This should give the model some more colour. Maybe you can also add some more detail to the pedals, steering wheel and dash by adding some paint? But it looks good! Looking forward to an article about the build! Alex van de Wetering |
