Looking good Mike

Is that top plate and bullet splash guard home made/repro.

One thing I would change is the fasteners you have used to attach the top plate to the upper engine frame rails. I believe they should be just regular hex head bolts.

Thanks Jordan , I saw a Carrier in a Froggy museum that had those type of bolts it was a mk2 i believe, Plus I would like to sit on the top engine plate when it get cold so i really don't want to chaff my ass on those NUTS !!! LOL

Default fan paint

Mike,
I can't understand why you didn't paint the fan blades red,white and blue?Red with a white spiral is kind of purdy as well! How bout painting 6 little white fleur-de -lieseses,( one on each blade)?

G'day All, love the pictures, I don't have anything like these vehicles but I was looking past the vehicle and lurking in the background were Milk crates, geez I thought I was the only person who was using them illegally (well here in Oz it's illegal to own them ) so come on own up how many have you got, yeah I know it's a tad of the thread be honest I have 4 of them!!! cheers Dennis
