Default Recent Issue

Brad,

There were some pix of Carrier grenade boxes in a few recent issues of Army Motors - one of the mags that MVPA membership brings.

I am sure that they can dig up back issues for you when you susbscribe.

Hi Brad,
The pictures of the grenade box inserts that are shown in the army motors article are photo's of the grenade box's in my carrier that I sent to a member which used my photo's in his article he wrote. The wood inserts and the felt were manufactured by me from whatever information I had to go on at the time.I later saw some original inserts in a used grenade box that had not yet been tampered with and then realized that my examples were off the mark and should not be used as a reference or pattern to replicate from.I believe Rob Love's carrier was where I saw these box's with the proper wood inside.I will be going to Rob's this weekend and I will ask him to post picture's if he has them.

I will also drag along that Mark 1 instrument panel and get Rob to photograph the original horn button for you as I don't have a digital camera yet. Regards,
Derk.

Default Grenade Box interts

Brad, I have a wooden insert for the grenade box and have made a drawing. Shall I add it to the list of information I've promised you?
