There were some pix of Carrier grenade boxes in a few recent issues of Army Motors - one of the mags that MVPA membership brings. I am sure that they can dig up back issues for you when you susbscribe. ![]() Stewart |

I am sure that they can dig up back issues for you when you susbscribe. ![]() Hi Brad, The pictures of the grenade box inserts that are shown in the army motors article are photo's of the grenade box's in my carrier that I sent to a member which used my photo's in his article he wrote.The wood inserts and the felt were manufactured by me from whatever information I had to go on at the time.I later saw some original inserts in a used grenade box that had not yet been tampered with and then realized that my examples were off the mark and should not be used as a reference or pattern to replicate from.I believe Rob Love's carrier was where I saw these box's with the proper wood inside.I will be going to Rob's this weekend and I will ask him to post picture's if he has them. I will also drag along that Mark 1 instrument panel and get Rob to photograph the original horn button for you as I don't have a digital camera yet. Regards, Derk.
