The picture is probably too big, Mike. Ensure it's no larger than 600 pixels wide and 100kb, ok? And don't preview it before you send!

Hi Mike
Your carrier really looks good. Yours and mine are in about the same shape. One thing I did notice was that your engine is the same as what I have. The early 85hp flathead with the water pumps at the front top of the block. Do you know if its orginal to the carrier? I have found one picture of an early British carrier with the same engine. Is that a white plastic tent that you have set up. How well does it work? I was thinking of getting the same thing for my truck as I don't have anymore indoor space.

Nice fix up job Brad:0, remind me next time I win something on Ebay from ja, i'll pay it off in Dirty pennies you little bugger................. Thanks Jordan for the compliment Yes it's an oldy but goody flathead, rebuilt and dusty, i never painted it , i wanted it to look old and field worn, as far as the tent , its a car port, $190.00 US at petboy's auto mart its great. we had 2 days of rain plus the remnants of the last hurricane come thru with 50mph winds In New England, it held up great , not good for winter use tho , if you notice we have a nice barn to put the carrier behind the car port.

Yea, I thought the Boye's A.T. Gun would look better out the front,
I had the Bren Gun on the A.A. mount in front of the radio op. As for the Armor this was done to scare the Jerry's into thinking we had more armor than we really have. Not that it did any good Poor MOLLY got taken out by a Jerry PAK 36 at the public battle Later that afternoon. ![]() BiG Steve kantner PS. Iam going to Len Kulacki's house Sat 11/19 |

Mike you were asking about the distance from the rad to the engine mount. Looking at your photos you posted I woudl say that your rad is too close to the engine. I think in one of the photos I can see the proper rad mounts. I wont be able to measure mine until Friday but I would think that all the mounts would be the same regardless of what version of carrier it was. Perhaps someone else can measure for Mike.
Also my rad is the original one for a carrier. I dont know if yours is or not. if you look in my post "Some picture of my new carrier" I have some good shots of the rad.

What do you think Jordan , Should I remove it or leave it?, Thier is a small leak at the bottom of the Rad , I was going to seal it with sum sealer powder, But might have to take Rad out , Jordan do I have to take off the top steel deck plates to take Rad out? Thanks

If you lads look at my carrier , BIG MIKES , you notice on one pic the inside rad wall it's cut out , I want to fix this problem without taking anything out , thier are 2 lillte bent steel plates I need made , anyone have any? was thing of cutting 2 pieces of mild steel slipping them in to fit ware the steel was cut then reweld then grind them smooth , its a cosmetic thing i say , then run sum angle iron up the wall and rivit them, some say this would be easy please,, i want to do this to give extra support on the wall armour plus to mount sum required parts on, I hope it works .

Thanks Brad , I think I may have too do this by just fitting a hole pice of steel on both sides then welding the the hole seem back together , I mean the old owners really hacked this up , then I'll install the new small platesI'll have made, screw them in, put the angle iron on walls and make the long top edge going across the hole fram, its all easy but you know how it is Brad, all cut and fit, straight lines and time. and a little cash. Cheers Mate
