Does anyone know the current selling price for a complete A1 condition, with all the fruit, 1944 Welbike?
A club member wishes to sell his bike but I image his asking price may be a little... wishful. |

Wayne,
Last March a Welbike, unrestored, with non-original front rim and tyre, missing muffler and damaged rear fender sold for US$ 4,500 on eBay - see Item # 2406242731. I would have classed that figure as wishful thinking, but apparently these little critters are worth their weight in gold to some people. Hope this helps, Hanno |

Ehm, as a matter of fact, a complete and original welbike is almost literaly worth it´s weight in gold.
About $ 8,000 to 10,000 is not unimagineable. Absurd, yes. But still. A couple of WW2-motor-manic friends of mine are actually collecting Villiers engines, to start a limited replica productionrun. Martin. |

Thanks for the info on the prices, I take that as being in US Dollars, which means about $14,000 to $16,000 Aussie Dinas... unbelievable.
