Sunray:

I gave you a live .50 cal AP round in celebration of your 50th.

A year later, I wondered where in hell I could find a .51 cal round.

Now, I'm buggered if I can find a .52 round.

HB, don't let the breeze up.....

Regards, from Snowen Sound.

Default Centurions...

I have it on good authority that Cardinal Fang was not a Centurion... but a Primus Pilus (due no doubt to the large pilus he carries in his haemoroidum).

Primus Pilus, we pay Tribune (or is that tribute?) to you!

Happy Birthday, Geoff!

Hey, must have missed this thread when it was first posted. A belated Happy Birthday to you - my 50 on the 11th Feb, so there are a few other half-centurions about. Never thought I'd reach this age, but it doesn't seem so bad now!!!

Think big - the only difference between men and boys are the size of their toys, remember?

So what about a 60mm Hyper Velocity Medium Support gun? Comes fitted in a suitably upgraded Sherman!

Cheers,
Hanno

Default Bofors Buddy

Hi Hanno:

I look forward to you joining the bird gunner club when you get your Bofors... I'll finally be able to convince the forum powers to add a separate forum for Canadian manufactured artillery... "The Gun Shed" or "The MLU Battery".

Maybe I should lend my almost complete collection of Bofors manuals to Alex for reproduction.

Of course we will have to introduce you to the mysteries of Saint Barbara and teach you all about caring for the Colours.

Hi Mike..
I have never had any demand for the manual and have lots of 75,90 MM stuff listed with little demand for that..but if the demand is there we'll do it..
We'll gather up at Gracies over the issue ...
Wild Willy will be here soon..Rob and Bob know the drill..Clive should be around somewhere too.

Oh well, I suppose I'll have to go metric then; just the 60mm round if you please McSpool and on the original D-Day date this year, not the weather delayed day if you'd be so kind.

I'll bet you would like to have that .50 Cal. round chambered up in your MacMillan and that evil weasle of a ground hog dead center in your sites this morning...
Wire-ass Willy and his predictions didn't say how much snow before spring came..
I saw that you must of had 60 CM of the white stuff over the weekend ,and with the drifting it is probably up there pretty good...
In Ottawa ,we had rain, until last night and then it blew in about 5 CM of really light snow...The missus has the drive way shovelled allready....
Maybe you should head south with us for a couple of weeks...

Thanks for the comments about the snow, Alex.

Yeah, we got hammered pretty good. I had local guy with auger and tractor blow out driveway yesterday...and, due to today's accumulation, have to have him back to blow out the driveway again tomorrow. My 10 hp, 29" snow blower just can't hack the amount of snow that we've had.

Heading south...???...where do I sign up...first of all, how do we get out of the driveway in order to get to a road to the airport?

BTW, I've posted elsewhere on this Forum that, if I ever get my hands on the scrawny neck of that Wiarton Willie, I'll take great satisfaction in inducing rodenticide. Grrr..I shoot his relatives regularly when they encroach on my property.
