Pic from the 1980s, think I can see a Aust. No.8 gun tractor body in the background ?

The 'green suit' were my working coveralls, Aust Army workshop issue - just the thing for recovering junk. Don't remember the location of that particular image, but most of the others were in the quarry owned by Rod McP.

The No.8 is under restoration by another MLU member.

Mike, it was taken during the Ballarat airshow trip. We stayed in the WW2 era RAAF barracks which are long gone. The Morris belonged to John Carroll , John was selling the Morris at the time.

Default Inspiring pix

I downloaded all those pics Mike - I discover little details of assembly all the time when pics of (disassembled) CS8's show up.
One day I'll be able to get to your neck of the woods to check out yours and that one 'up the road' from you ...
Meantime mine has a set of good wheels and tyres and am progressing on chassis tidy.
